Riley Publishing Studios begins here... not yet as the full-service indie publishing house I hope to build one day, but as the first step toward it. 

The long-term dream is big: a full publishing studio with a team, physical offices, expanded author services, and more. The goal? To have the ability to help bring more stories into the world with care, strategy, and intention. 

But dreams like that are built one step at a time. 

This is the first step, the foundational beginning of Riley Publishing Studios.

 

RPS is being built for independent and aspiring authors who want professional publishing support without losing creative control. This includes editing, proofreading, cover and interior formatting, author branding, social media branding, publishing strategy, website support, and guidance through platforms such as Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, Draft2Digital, and more.

Self-publishing can be empowering, but it can also be overwhelming. There are so many decisions, so many details, and so many places where writers are expected to figure everything out alone. 

Riley Publishing Studios is being built to change that. At its core, RPS is being built around these core beliefs: 

An author's voice maters.
An author's vision matters. 
An author should always have the final say in their creations. 

My role is not to take over someone else's story. My role is, and always will be, to help shape, strengthen, polish, prepare, and guide authors towards publications while keeping their creative vision intact.

As RPS grows, the goal is to move from publishing support into a fuller author-forward publishing house. But even as the studio grows, the heart of it will remain the same: authors deserve professional publishing support without being asked to surrender the story that belongs to them.

Foundational Author opportunities will be limited and selective while RPS builds its first curated portfolio of authors and titles.
